This past weekend we headed home to Marietta for a baby shower for my sister Shanna. The girls, Ellie especially, were very excited! They were a big help to Aunt Nanna as she opened her presents! Each person was supposed to bring a book to the shower instead of a card to build the library for the new baby. Ellie and Lainey chose one of their favorites...Everyone Poops by Taro Gomi! The night before the shower Ellie was singing songs while Namaw Jenny played the piano as they often do. Ellie decided she would make invitations for everyone and put on a performance during the shower. She made 30 invitations and handed them to the shower guests as they arrived on Saturday afternoon. After all the gifts and games were done, she put on a show including such all time favorites as...The ABC Song, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and Mary Had A Little Lamb. Lainey even joined in too!
